My City, My Home PDF Print E-mail
Over the past few days I have become the Information Coordinator for White Dove. Gathering the whereabouts of church members via our website and forums. Channeling info on destroyed houses, missing people, bodies, disentary.

I cannot even imagine in my feeble mind what some of the people at the Dome or Convention Center have been thru over the past few days. I find myself slipping in and out deep heart sickness for my City, my Home, my Church.

There has been too much of this distruction and dispare on TV. I am not going to continue it here. I had to get away for a few hours today.

Amongst these stories there have been many testimonies of the Hand of God doing great works in the lifes of His people. Miraculously reuniting family members, houses being saved by a an inch, mobile homes spared when every other trailer had major damage.

The best stories are the ones of blessing being pour out upon Gods people by other church members from all around the south: Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee.

One person reported that they were allowed to stay in an upscale condo where the owner can no longer stay there because of his work but offered it to this refugee family for as long as they need it, completely furnished.

A gentleman that owns many nursings homes has a couple of them that were not being used. He is now cleaning one up to house 100 people, complete with beds, working kitchen, etc.

Any many more stories. In a few days I will put up a forum just for these testimonies. I may not have enough disk space to hold them all!
