WWDC 2007 is in the Can. So to Speak.

by RevMark

Well, it has been another year at the WWDC. Again another year that I had to watch from the confines of my home office via a QuickTime stream.

But all is not lost. Steve’s “Reality Distortion Field” was in full effect during the SteveNote (thats Keynote for you non-Apple geeks). Nothing really earth shattering. Most of which we heard back in January at MacWorld. I was hoping to see some new hardware. But after about half way thru I realized that Steve rarely introduces new iron during the WWDC except when it directly affects the developers. As was the case when Apple went to the G5 and then again with the Intel switch.

The two biggest items for me were the new finder and iChat. Both of which will be release with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard in October.

If you haven’t done so already, please view the Keynote and let us know what you think.
